This 50 minute full-spectrum class is taught at a slower pace and designed to introduce new bodies to our VFORMER machine & Slow Resistance Training workout.

NOTE: You must wear grip socks for all VFORMER classes for hygiene and safety purposes.

This is a steady resistance workout performed on an SRT machine that is easy on your joints but high in intensity and hard on your muscles. Slow, steady movement, fast results.

What is SRT / VFORMER workout?

In the 1920s, Joseph Pilates invented a workout regimen that changed lives. Fast forward to the 20th century, the confluence of pilates and strength training world brought about new methods.

Slow resistance training is a, typically high-intensity, strength-building method that uses very slow, controlled movements to maximize time-under-tension and eliminate momentum. Unlike Pilates, which prioritizes core stability, mobility, and functional alignment, slow resistance training focuses heavily on maximum muscular hypertrophy (muscle growth) and raw strength development.
